Group Dental Insurance is a benefit provided by your employer to financially support your dental needs, including check-ups, preventative and restorative dental work, dental injuries, emergencies and oral cancer treatment, up to the value of the cover level that your employer has provided you with.

Details on your cover level can be found in the YuLife app via the Yu Screen to the right of your Yumoji. Tap on the Group Dental icon to view more information on the policy that has been taken out for you. Bupa will also send you a Welcome Pack where you'll find your unique membership number for your Bupa Touch account, alongside key policy details and how to make a claim. You'll receive the Welcome Pack within 7-10 days of your policy starting.

You're able to claim a free Ordo toothbrush with your Group Dental policy, this can be done via the Yu screen. You can claim the toothbrush immediately however, only one toothbrush can be claimed even if you have dependants on the policy.

It may be possible to add your family to the policy, check in with your HR manager to see if this option is available for you.

Your cover automatically starts when the policy is taken out by your employer, so there is no need for you to manually activate your policy.

Claims are made via your Bupa Touch account, you can access this on their website or on the Bupa Touch app.

If you use a Bupa dentist that offers direct reimbursement, you will not need to pay anything upfront, as all costs are reimbursed directly to the dentist. You don’t need to contact us at the point of claim. You can find your closest Bupa dentist here. If you're not using a Bupa dentist, you'll need to claim through Bupa Touch and you'll then be reimbursed directly to your bank account.
