Earn YuCoin and get extra zen by doing a meditation challenge! To start a meditation challenge, head to the Quests screen and select the meditation challenge. From here, you can do an in-app meditation, or you can do a meditation using an app outside of YuLife. As well as with meditation challenges, YuLife also awards you daily mindful minutes, which can be seen on your app home screen.

In-app meditations:
The in-app meditation sessions are provided free of charge with our fantastic meditation partner, Meditopia. You can simply tap one of the two sessions showing, and the meditation will start within the app. Each in-app meditation session is rated in stars depending on its duration. Completing the challenge will automatically earn you the YuCoin.

Other meditation apps:

As long as the meditation app you use connects to Apple Health or Google Fit, your mindfulness minutes will be read by YuLife. If your meditation challenges are failing, please first check to make sure the minutes were recorded in Apple Health or Google Fit. If they do not appear there, you can double check your Health App Connections to make sure everything is setup correctly.

If you would like to do a meditation session outside of the YuLife app, you must start the meditation challenge within YuLife before opening the mindfulness app of your choice. You will have 1 hour to complete your meditation; if you complete a 10 minute or more session, the challenge will automatically finish. If you meditate for less than 10 minutes, the challenge will end and YuCoin will be rewarded at the end of the hour. That means if you'd like to do more than one session (for example, two 5 minute sessions), both will be counted towards your challenge. Once you've finished the meditation, make sure you return to the YuLife app to ensure that the challenge has completed.
