What is MetLife GP24?
MetLife GP24 is a virtual GP service that gives YuLife members unlimited access to 24/7 GP services. These services include:
24/7 access to a Virtual GP
Whatever the day or hour, you can get unlimited access to GPs
Your choice of a face-to-face video call or phone consultation
Fit Notes
Get the support you need after sickness absence with consultations and fit notes you need to return to work
Open Private Referrals
If you need onward care, the GPs can issue open referrals for private healthcare providers (this may incur fees, this is not covered by YuLife)
Private prescriptions
GPs can issue private prescriptions for collection, or direct delivery to local pharmacies (prescription and delivery charges apply)
Second Medical Opinion
You have access to up to 2 second opinion consultations per 12-month period, to be sure you are seeking the appropriate specialist help, should you need it

Who has access to MetLife GP24?
The MetLife GP24 service is available to YuLifers who have a MetLife Individual Protection Policy. These include Life cover, Critical Illness cover, Accident and Hospitalisation cover, and Income Protection cover.
This service is also available to immediate family and dependants (up to the age of 21) who are living in the same household.
How do I access MetLife GP24?
To access MetLife GP24, tap on the main menu in the top left, head to the Wellbeing Hub and scroll to find GP24. Here, you'll see your Access Code and the 'Access GP24' link to sign-up. You can also access the sign-in/sign-up link here. You can also call 0330 043 5198, you'll need to quote your Access Code on the phone, so make sure you have it handy! If it's not currently showing in the app, your HR Manager will be able to provide it for you.
To book an appointment, simply tap on the 'Book consultation' option on the home page of the GP24 app.
How does my family access MetLife GP24?
For your partner to access MetLife GP24, they'll need to create their own account using their own email address and password. During the signup process, they'll need to enter your access code - this is found in your Wellbeing Hub on the YuLife app. Once the account has been created, your partner will be able to access the MetLife GP24 service to book appointments.
For children, if they are over 16, they can follow the same instructions listed above, as for a partner. If your child is under 16, you'll need to add them as a dependant on your own MetLife GP24 account. To do this, tap your profile in the bottom right corner, then select 'dependants' and 'Add new dependant'. You'll need to fill out all of the required details for the child, and once they are a saved dependant, you will be able to book an appointment for them.

MetLife GP24 is provided by HealthHero. It is the largest digital-first healthcare provider in Europe. It combines digital convenience with clinical expertise to provide people with fast, remote access to expert clinicians when they need it.
