How to claim your DNA Test with LivingDNA.

Please note - these rewards are only available for those with a Group Health Insurance Policy.

What is the Living DNA Test?

Have you ever wondered if you were part neanderthal? Or why you feel tired all day? Or why you can't remember what you had for lunch? Well, the Living DNA test kit may have the answers to your questions, as these things could actually be understood by analysing your DNA, alongside being able to look into your ancestry.

The test will analyse the following areas:

  • Ancestry - from your deep ancestry to DNA matching

  • Personality traits - from mathematical ability to stress response

  • Nutrigenomics - from response to food molecules to vitamin metabolisms

  • Fitness genomics - from your endurance capabilities to muscle damage and recovery.

How do I claim the test?

  1. Head to your YuLife app and scroll down to find your Living DNA test reward on the Health Insurance screen.

  2. Tap 'claim my reward' and fill out the required details on the following page to ensure the DNA test is sent to your desired address (this can take 3 - 5 days to arrive).

  3. Yay! The test has arrived - follow the instructions in the kit to activate your account and take your sample.

  4. Once you've taken the sample, package it up according to the instructions and send it back. Your results will be available on your Living DNA account within 6 - 8 weeks of arrival at the lab (it's worth keeping an eye on your Living DNA account to see the progress of your results).

  5. That's it! You're about to immerse yourself in your DNA results, enjoy!

What's the timeframe for receiving DNA test results?

You will receive your results within 6 - 8 weeks of the tests arriving at the lab.

How do I use the DNA test?

A testing kit will be sent to your home address with full instructions included for how to use it and on how to return your test to LivingDNA.

Will employees be signposted to my/other health services if needed?

The DNA test kit comes with a comprehensive breakdown of the results, with the appropriate solution for any results that the user will need to look into further.

Will my employer be notified of any significant health risks identified in my results?

Results from the assessment will be confidential between you and LivingDNA only.
