What are Tags, and how do I create them?

What are Tags?

A Tag is a way of categorising groups of employees in your YuLife HR Portal. For example, you might want to create a tag for competition winners across teams or departments.

There is also the option that, with the help of your Customer Success Manager, you can do extra data analysis within each Tag. Drop your Customer Success Manager a message if you'd like more information on this!

How do I create a Tag?

  1. Head to the People section on the left-hand side of the HR Portal and select Custom Values, then select 'tags' at the top of the screen. To add a new tag, tap 'add value' in the top-right. Please note, you will need to have the 'Manage Tags' permission to view the Tags screen on the Custom Values page.

  2. Fill in the required information for your tag, and select 'add value' to save the entry.

  3. That's it, you've created a Tag!

How do I add an employee to a Tag?

  1. Head to the YuLife Portal and tap on the People tab on the left-hand side. Select the employee that you would like to edit and select the 'Tags' option across the top of the screen.

  2. This will redirect you to the section in which you can add your desired tags. Tap 'edit' on the right-hand side. From here, you can search for the tag you wish to include.
    ​

  3. Once selected, make sure you tap 'Save'. That's your employee added to the Tag!


Can I Bulk Upload Tags?

Yes, simply enter the tag that you'd like to assign, or create, in the Tags column on your Bulk Import template.
