Who can set this up?
This functionality is available to all YuLife customers.
Be an Admin of your Microsoft Teams workspace
Have Admin permissions within the YuLife HR Portal
If you donβt have the correct permissions but would like to try connecting your Microsoft Teams workspace to YuLife, get in touch with your Customer Success Manager at customersuccess@yulife.com.
Step 1 β Connect YuLife and Microsoft Teams
Log in to your YuLife HR Portal β team.yulife.com
In the side bar menu, go to Settings β Messaging
Click Create new connection and choose Microsoft Teams.
Tip: Disconnect any existing connection, if one is found.
Authorise the connection when prompted
β Once connected, youβll see Microsoft Teams listed as an active integration in your Messaging settings.
Step 2 β Send messages to Employees via Microsoft Teams
The Microsoft Teams integration supports two outgoing message types
Invite Employees via Microsoft Teams
Go to the People page in your HR Portal.
Select the employee(s) you want to invite and click Invite
Employees will receive:
An email invitation to download the YuLife app
A Microsoft Teams notification prompting them to join YuLife
β οΈ Important: The employee's Microsoft Teams account email must match the email address recorded in the YuLife HR Portal.
Send a Reward to an Employee via Microsoft Teams
This is only available to clients who have Rewards and Recognition. Please speak to your Customer Success Manager if you'd like to upgrade your YuLife package
Go to the Reward Employees section of the YuLife Portal.
Click Send a gift to create a new reward campaign.
Enter a gift title, select recipients, choose the reward amount, and customise the message.
Click Send gift now.
Employees will receive:
A Microsoft Teams notification from the YuLife bot and a prompt to join YuLife if they haven't accessed their account yet
