What are Employee Surveys, and how can I use them?

What are Employee Surveys?

Surveys allow you to create and run employee surveys across web and app, starting from customisable templates (Quick Engagement, Full Engagement) or building fully custom surveys. Responses are anonymous by default, and results are only displayed when each view has three or more responses.

🧠 What does eNPS stand for?

eNPS = employee net promoter score

It works by asking employees to rate their likelihood of recommending their company as a place to work on a scale of 0-10.

Responses are categorised into Promoters (9-10), Passives (7-8), and Detractors (0-6). The final eNPS score is calculated by subtracting the percentage of Detractors from the percentage of Promoters, with the score ranging from -100 to +100.

How do I access the Employee Surveys?

You can access this by logging into your admin account, tapping on Employee Insights in the side menu, and then opening the ENPS tab. To view this, you will need to have the permission to View Employee Insights Analytics, Create and Distribute Surveys, and View Survey Results toggled on in your admin account settings.

You can create your own survey/s by following these steps:

  1. Create: Admin selects Template or Custom and configures questions.

  2. Target: Admin chooses All employees or builds conditions from pre-defined segments.

  3. Plan & Launch: Set close date (auto-close at 23:59), customise messaging

  4. Optionally include a YuCoin incentive before launching

  5. Notify: Eligible employees get invited via email and, if applicable, in-app/push.

  6. Remind: Non-responders receive reminders every other day (max 1/day), plus a final-day reminder; respects quiet hours.

  7. Respond: Employees complete on web or app.

  8. Results: Admins see summaries, eNPS trend, distributions, heatmaps and free-text responses, with threshold-of-3 enforced per group.

Where do employees complete the survey?

On web or in-app. In-app/push reach existing app users; email requires a stored email address (some clients are email-less).
