COMING SOON: Team Events in the YuLife app 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 🇿🇦

Team Events let your company take part in a friendly team step challenge. Think Sales vs Marketing, London vs Manchester, or any two teams your HR team wants to set up. It's the same steps you're already tracking, just with a scoreboard, and some friendly rivalry.

You'll get an email on the day the event starts- whether or not you've already downloaded the app. So even if you haven't used YuLife in a while, keep and eye on your inbox. Your team might need you.
​Please note: Team membership is fixed before the event kicks off, so there's no joining mid-challenge. If you're in, you're in from the start. Another good reason to look out for that launch email.

Head to the homescreen in the YuLife app. You'll see your event card waiting for you there, under the giant gold coin. Tap it to see your team's progress, the leaderboard, and how much time is left.
You can track the event in real time, as the event card on your homescreen updates throughout the challenge, so you can see exactly where your team stands, who's contributing, and how much ground you need to make up (or defend).

Team Events run for 7 days. Steps are counted from the moment the event begins, so there's no easing in. Every step counts from day one.

It's all about average steps per person, not total steps. So your team's score is calculated by dividing your team's combined steps by the number of active participants. That means a small, active team can absolutely take down a bigger but less engaged one. Quality over quantity.

Results are announced within 24 hours of the event ending. The winning team will be revealed in the app, so check back once the 7 days are up.
